Funny 70th Birthday Paw Print Accent Coffee Mug

Ten in dog years, with a paw print where the zero should be

Bold condensed type, a paw print standing in for the nought, and a black handle and interior that pick up the ink. The maths does the work so nobody has to say the number out loud - which is most of what you want from a 70th birthday gift.

A 70th birthday gift for him or her that is not a card

Presents for someone turning seventy tend to split into solemn keepsakes and over-the-hill gags that stop being funny by lunchtime. This sits between the two. The joke is warm rather than pointed, it never mentions age or decline, and the mug is still in the cupboard rotation long after the party is cleared up.

Made for the dog person

The line lands hardest with someone who has always had a dog and has done this calculation out loud about their own. That makes it a natural gift for grandpa, a gift for grandma, a retirement present, or the thing you bring to a family dinner when a card will not carry it.

Black accent or plain white

This is the accent version, where the black handle and interior echo the lettering and give the mug more presence on a shelf. There is also an all-white version if you want the type to be the only thing happening. 11 oz is the standard coffee size; 15 oz gives the lettering more room.

White ceramic with a coloured interior and handle

A white ceramic body with a glossy finish, finished with a coloured inside and handle for an eye-catching contrast against your design.

C-shaped handle

An ergonomic handle that gives a comfortable grip.
