Schnauzer Toile Ceramic Coffee Mug

A schnauzer, rendered in proper blue toile

Toile de Jouy is the two-hundred-year-old French pattern of fine engraved scenes in a single colour on off-white cloth, and it is exactly the right register for a miniature schnauzer: all that beard and eyebrow drawn in crisp indigo line work, framed by botanical sprays and wildflowers. A dog mug that looks like it came from a linen cupboard rather than a gift shop.

For the schnauzer person in your life

Schnauzer owners are a specific breed of dog person. They will tell you about the beard. This is a schnauzer gift that acknowledges the dog without cartooning it, which makes it a rare thing among dog lover gifts - something they will actually leave out on the counter instead of putting in a cupboard.

Classic blue and white, so it goes with everything

Indigo on white sits comfortably next to delftware, willow pattern, striped linen and plain white china. If the kitchen already leans blue and white, this slots straight in. If it does not, the toile print is quiet enough not to argue with anything.

An easy gift, all year

Works for a birthday, Mother's Day, a housewarming, or the friend who just brought a schnauzer puppy home. 11 oz for a standard coffee; 15 oz if they drink a large one or want the pattern to have more room.

Durable white ceramic

Sturdy white ceramic with a glossy finish, so the print stays crisp and the colours stay bright.

C-shaped handle

An easy-grip handle that sits comfortably in the hand, mug after mug.

Dye sublimation print

The design is fused into the coating rather than printed on top, so it will not peel or fade with washing.

Lead and BPA-free

Safe for daily use with hot and cold drinks.

Two sizes: 11oz (0.33 l) and 15oz (0.44 l). All measurements refer to the product itself.
